48 pages, every two years since 2008 The Challenge Streamline production of AIM’s directory 
of all statewide elected officials in Massachusetts, indexed by name, by town and also by senate district. Keep the information current so a new directory can be generated quickly after each election. The Solution We created a Filemaker database for all state senators and representatives. We maintain the database and revise it whenever the client provides updated information. We use a third-party database filter to import the data from Filemaker into our InDesign templates and apply text formatting automatically, so whenever there is a change, a new, formatted directory can be generated quickly without having to manually rearrange the order of entries. We also preflight/edit all headshot photos and maintain the files for use in the next edition of the directory.
